The Status quo of the Middle School Teachers Employment of the Technological Innovations in Teaching in the Light of some Variables

Abstract

The current study aimed to identify the status quo of employing the technological innovations in teaching by the middle school teachers in the light of some variables. The study made use of a questionnaire as a data collecting instrument. The study population were all the middle school teachers in Kuwait and the parƟcipants were (832) teachers (males & females). The participants were categorized in the light of some variables, namely, gender, qualifications and years of experience. The results of the study revealed that the degree of approval of all the dimensions was (average) from the viewpoints of the study participants as the dimensions were respectively arranged as follows: the third dimension related to the obstacles of employing the technological innovations by the middle school teachers in education, the first dimension related to the requirements availability of employing the technological means by the middle school teachers in education and the second dimension related to the employment of the technological innovations by the middle school teachers in education as the means of the relative weights of the items ranged between (2.003) and (2.556).
