Abstract:
     The objective of this study was to know the extent of the focus of the evaluation questions in the Arabic language book for the first grade secondary on the development of students' thinking skills according to the Bloom classification of cognitive objectives. The study sample consisted of all the questions in the Arabic language book (534) Which are the criteria for Bloom's classification of cognitive levels, and the results showed the following:
     (65%), while higher levels of thinking (analysis, composition, and evaluation) scored 33%. The need to pay attention to the questions of higher thinking levels in the book mentioned.
