Barriers to raising the professional competence of female educational supervisors and ways to improve them in public education schools in Riyadh

Abstract

The present study aimed to uncover the reality, obstacles and ways to improve the professional competence of the educational supervisors in the general education schools in Riyadh. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the descriptive analytical method. This study was applied in the academic year (1440H - 2019) The current study tool consisted of three main areas: the professional efficiency of educational supervisors, the obstacles faced by educational supervisors in raising the level of professional competence, ways to improve the professional efficiency of educational supervisors, and after verifying the validity and stability of the questionnaire, Results of the mathematical averages on the first component of the questionnaire: The professional efficiency of the educational supervisors of the subjects ranged from (3.63) maximum and (2.07) minimum, and there were areas (educational supervisors contribute in encouraging teachers to activate critical thinking skills in the teaching and learning process. The educational parameters of the second component of the questionnaire: The obstacles faced by the educational supervisors in raising the level of professional competence ranged from (3.68) to a maximum of (2.02) and a minimum of (Holds routine on The different levels of education - the educational supervisors return to the individual work and to move away from the collective work - the stress and psychological pressure felt by the educational supervisor because of the workloads) at the highest response levels and the degree (high), and the results proved that the arithmetical averages of the three components of the questionnaire: The results showed that there were no statistically significant differences between the responses of the sample of the study about the obstacles to raising the professional efficiency of the turbochargers.
