Stuttering is determined by the self-efficacy of the adult stutter sample

Abstract

Stuttering is one of the most dangerous types of language and speech disorders, which can be considered as a symptom of a mental illness that can be calculated on this basis as a respiratory or triggering phenomenon. (Mustafa Suif, 1975, p. 219), it affects the individual in terms of his personal, psychological and social compatibility directly or Indirectly, it makes a person who is different from others, which reduces his ability, and reduces his self-reliance, or his ability to form good relations with others, as well as increasing negative feelings such as feelings of deficiency, isolation, and lack of self-efficacy (Tariq Zaki, 2009, p. : 70,86).
In light of the foregoing, this study undertakes to reveal the nature of the relationship between self-efficacy and stuttering with a sample of adult stutterers using a number of tools that have been designed in light of the study and analysis of a number of different theoretical sources Gillham, J.E, 2007.
