Abstract

The impact of teaching based on the social work requirements to develop social responsibility among high school students through the curricula of home economics and family life sciences
Research Summary
The aim of the research was to identify the impact of teaching based on the social work requirements to develop social responsibility among high school students through the curricula of home economics and family life sciences. To achieve this goal, a critical analytical study of specialized literature and research in the field of social work was carried out to prepare the list of social work requirements, which has reviewed by the experts to put it in its final view, then this list was used to enrich the curricula of home economics and family life sciences of secondary stage in order to develop social responsibility. A teaching unit was selected and enriched with social work requirements in preparation for conducting the research experiment. The social responsibility scale of "Sayed Ahmed Osman" was also chosen, modified to be used to measure the impact after measurements of validity and reliability. A group of (20) students was selected to represent the experimental group that has been taught and to apply the research tool "social responsibility scale" before and after, the result of the research revealed superiority of students after the application by (15.1%), where the percentage of the result of the pre application (69.78%), while the percentage of the result of the post application (84.88%), which indicates the impact of teaching based on the social work requirements in the development of social responsibility.
