The Effect of Using Electronic Mental Maps Strategy on Developing Some Reading Comprehension Skills and Innovative Thinking Skills among Students of the College of Education at Al-Baha University

Abstract

The Study Aimed To Know The Effect Of Using Electronic Mental Maps Strategy On Developing Some Reading Comprehension Skills And Innovative Thinking Skills Among Students Of The College Of Education At Al-Baha University. The Semi-Experimental Approach Was Used. The Study Sample Was Selected From Male And Female Students At The College Of Education At Al-Baha University. The Number Of Its Members Reached (60) Male And Female Students. Achievement Test Was Used. And The Torrance Verbal Test For Creative Thinking (Photo A) As Tools For Collecting Study Information. The Most Prominent Results Of The Study Are The Presence Of Statistically Significant Differences Between The Mean Scores Of The Experimental And Control Groups In The Post-Measurement Variable In Rhetorical Achievement In Favor Of The Experimental Group. There Are Statistically Significant Differences Between The Mean Scores Of The Experimental And Control Groups In The Post-Measurement In Innovative Thinking Skills In Favor Of The Experimental Group. There Are No Statistically Significant Differences Between The Mean Scores Of The Pre And Post Measurement Of The Control Group In Rhetorical Achievement. There Are No Statistically Significant Differences Between The Mean Scores Of The Pre And Post Measurement Of The Control Group In Innovative Thinking Skills. There Are Statistically Significant Differences Between The Mean Scores Of The Pre And Post Measurement Of The Experimental Group In Rhetorical Achievement In Favor Of The Post Measurement. There Are Statistically Significant Differences Between The Mean Scores Of The Pre And Post Measurement Of The Experimental Group In Innovative Thinking Skills In Favor Of The Post Measurement.
