Attention as a Predictor of Emotional Creativity among Academically Outstanding Students at King Faisal University, Saudi Arabia

Abstract

The research aimed to investigate Attention and Emotional Creativity, and to determine the relationship between them. In addition to identifying the predictive ability of attention to emotional creativity. The descriptive approach was used. The research sample consisted of (225) of academically outstanding students at King Faisal University, Their average age was (20.9) years, with a standard deviation (1.43). Emotional Creativity Scale and Attention Scale were administered to participants. "T-test", Pearson Correlation Coefficient and Simple linear Regression were utilized in the statistical analysis of data. Findings of the research revealed High level Attention and Emotional Creativity among academically outstanding students at King Faisal University, There was a statistically significant and predictable positive correlation between Attention and Emotional Creativity. Search recommended taking into account the role of Attention in the Emotional Creativity, and building programs to develop the efficiency of academically outstanding Students in Attention and Emotional Creativity
