A proposal ideation to activating the role of family in development of some positive values for sons

Abstract

Abstract: The study aimed to To identify the role of the family in developing the positive values of childrena and design A proposal ideation to activating the role of family in development of some positive values for sons. The sample: 200 students from the third grade secondary school in Buraidah city, and the first level of the University of Qassim University (16- 19 years), 10 specialized in psychology and family, and 50 parents. Tools: Personal interview form, A list of positive values, and the scale of the role of the family in the development of positive values for sons. Results: Father's most prevalent practices were: social values, good citizenship, and family cohesion and Mother's most prevalent practices was: Family cohesion. There are many obstacles that hinder parents to play their role in the positive Tnimhagaym sons and There are many ways to overcome obstacles. There are statistically significant differences in the views of children on the role of parents in the development of positive values according to the variables: sex of parents, educational level, the level of income of the family, the number of family members, and the profession of parents.
