The development of education at the present time and the use of modern technology in education, has increased the need for educational institutions for teacher training and development programs. These programs aim to train teachers and develop their capabilities in order to use modern teaching methods with high efficiency. In order to understand the learning and development process in these training programs, this article explains the theory of transformative learning for a visitor. This is through a detailed explanation of the main ideas of theory, types, methods and stages of transformational learning. This is in order to design training programs in line with the theory of transformative learning and achieve the goal of development and transformation from the conclusion of training.
