An assessment of anxiety levels of slow learning students at Makkah al-Mukarramah city

Abstract

Thestudy aimed at assessing the anxiety levels of slow learning students at Makkah al-Mukarramah area in fourth, fifth sixth grades and who were attending resource rooms at the time of the study. and based on the anxiety scale prepared by Al-Smadi and Shouboul, 2018. Areaccepted for study purposes. Where after the review of the signs validated and tested for reliability the scale that it is acceptable for the purposes of study, The population of the study consisted of students who were attending resource rooms from the t directorate of education in Makkah al-Mukarramah. Through the use of averages, standard deviations, t-test and one way ANOVA and SCHEFEE test to analyze the data, the following results were apparent: moderate anxiety levels for all students in the all the area of study. The results also showed no statistical significance in the anxiety levels in the areas of loneliness, social and school rejection based on gender, and significant differences in the area of family stress about gender. No significant differences were found in the anxiety levels on all four areas (i.e loneliness, social, school rejection and family stress) about gender.
