The Reality of Applying Administrative Re-engineering in Secondary Schools in Jazan Province

Abstract

This study aims at recognizing the reality of applying administrative re-engineering in Jazan secondary schools and level of its application from the point of view of female secondary school teachers, as well as the statistically significant differences among the mean scores of the study sample according to the study variables. The study depends on the analytical descriptive method through a questionnaire applied on a sample of 316 female secondary school teachers. Statistical styles include arithmetic mean, standard deviation, percentages, t-test and Scheffe test. Study findings show that the level of applying administrative reengineering has been found to be high as the total mean score is 4.05168, with astandard deviation of 0.90431 and a percentage of 81.03%. Moreover, there are statistically significant differences at the level of 0.05 among the mean scores of the study sample regarding the qualification and favoring those with a bachelor degree, and regarding the years of experience favoring those with more than 10 years. There are no statistically significant differences regarding specialization. The study presents a number of recommendations that include: 1- Supporting the application of administrative re-engineering at secondary schools from the part of education authorities. 2- Raising awareness concerning administrative re-engineering through lectures for school leaders.
