The reality of the training programs provided by Saudi Aramco to students of public education in the framework of social responsibility

Abstract

The title of the study: The actuality of training programs provided by Saudi Aramco Company for the students of general education in the frame of social responsibility This study aimed to know the actuality of the training programs provided by Saudi Aramco Company for the students of general education, as well as to know the problems facing the training programs provided by Saudi Aramco Company for the students of general education, in addition to know the suggestions for developing the training programs provided by Saudi Aramco Company for the students of general education. The method of the study: The researcher uses the descriptive survey research. The tool of the study: He uses the questionnaire as a tool to collect the data of the study, which included (73) phrases, are distributed over three main axes. The community of the study: All the trainees in the Eastern Region in Dhahran, Al Khobar. The number of the student is (1,500) students. The questionnaire has applied to (449) students. The data has been processed statistically in accordance with the statistical
methods: Duplicates, percentages, averages, standard deviations, and Pearson Correlation Coefficient , and the equation of Alpha Cronbach's, and T-test for two independent samples, and Test Kruskal -Wallis, data were analyzed by statistical analysis software SPSS The most important results of the study: 1- There is a high degree of approval among the members of the study sample of the students of general education in Al Dhahran and Al Khobar on the training programs provided by Saudi Aramco Company, where the performance of the trainers and their personal characteristics are in the first class, then the training environment and the duration and the timing of the training programs. In the third class, the training methods usedcomes. 2- The lecture, the discussion, the problem-solving and the scientific interests are the main training methods used at the programs provided by Saudi Aramco Company. 3- There are many obstacles facing the training programs provided by the Saudi Aramco company, most markedly:  The shortage of diversification in the training methods.  The weakness of attachment between the training content and the educational actuality during the design of the training programs.  The shortage of time allocated for the applied aspects.  The lack of motivations incentives for the trainees in the training programs. 4- There is a high degree of approval among the members of the study sample on the suggestions that contribute to the development of the training programs provided by Saudi Aramco Company for the students of general education, and most of those Suggestions:  The diversify of training methods to fill the different needs of the trainees.
 The establishment of training programs in different time periods to give the trainee the chance to choose what commensurate with his conditions.  Choose the experienced trainers who know the modern training methods.  The benefit of the physical opportunities and the learning resources available rooms in schools. 5- The results showed that there were no differences which have statistical semantics between the averages of responses of the members of the study sample on the actuality of the training programs provided by Saudi Aramco Company for the students of general education depending on variables individuals (the study grade, the school building type, the training programs that have been joined in), except the dimension of the training methods used in the training programs depending on the variable type of school building in favor of private schools. In light of the results, the researcher made a number of recommendations including: 1- The diversification in training between practical and theoretical methods. 2- Provide the references and the sources of information allocated at the training programs. 3- Provide the qualified trainers for the training process. 4- The attachment between training content and educational actuality during the design of training programs. Study Proposals: The most prominent proposals of this study: -In light of the findings resulted from the study, the researcher recommends the following: 1- Saudi Aramco shall extend it's programs to cover all Kingdom's regions besides the major cities. 2- Other big companies shall contribute to the development of the educational process through their social responsibilities
3- Similar studies dealing with the actuality of the training programs provided by Saudi Aramco Company for the students of general education in other regions other than the Eastern Region. 4- Similar studies dealing with the obstacles of the training programs provided by Saudi Aramco Company for the students of general education.
