The Effectiveness of a Program Based on Wisdom based on Thinking in Decision-Making Skills Among a Sample of Preparatory Year Students at King Faisal University in Saudi Arabia

Abstract

The research aims at constructing a program based on Wisdom based on Thinking and knowledge of its impact in Decision-Making Skills. The sample consisted of (60) students, from Preparatory Year Students at King Faisal University in Saudi Arabia, and divided into two equal groups experimental and control groups. Decision-making skills scale was applied. Data analysis using "t" test effect, showed a statistically significant difference between the pre and post measurements of the experimental group on Decision-Making Skills scale for the post measurement, difference between the experimental and control groups on Decision-making skills scale for the experimental group, no difference between the average scores of the experimental group on Decision-making skills scale in the posttest and iterative measures.The study came out with a set of recommendations, the most important of which is the use of the training program in the current study in developing students’ decision-making skills
