The Big Six Factors of Personality in Viewof HEXACO and Online Learning Strategies as A Predictors of Academic Entitlement among University Students

Abstract

The current research aimed to identify The differences between both of (male/ female) in academic entitlement, knowing the relation correlation between academic entitlement and both of The Big Six Factors of Personality in Viewof HEXACO and Online Learning Strategies (dimensions and total degree), and the prediction of academic entitlement from these variables, The sample consisted of (619) male and female from the university students, Three Scales were applied: academic entitlement (translated and localization by the researcher), The Big Six Factors of Personality scale (submitted by the researcher), Online Learning Strategies scale (translated and localization by the researcher), by using the "T test for independent samples, Pearson Correlation and multiple regression analysis, The results found There are statistically significant differences at level (0,01) between means degrees of both males and females in (reward for effort, accommodation, customer orientation, customer service expectation, grade negotiation, the total degree) of academic entitlement in favor of female and in responsibility avoidance in favor of male, There are positive and negative correlation relation, statistically significance between students degree of academic entitlement (dimensions and total degree) and The Big Six Factors of Personality in Viewof HEXACO and Online Learning Strategies (dimensions and the total degree) among university students, and It is possible to predict total degree of academic entitlement from honesty-humility, agreeableness), and (self-monitoring, internet literacy, concentration , the total degree) of Online Learning Strategies among university students.
