Entrepreneurial education in Egyptian universities:An approach to developing social Entrepreneurship To achieve a sustainable competitive advantage

Abstract

The current research seeks to study the contributions of entrepreneurial education in Egyptian universities in developing community leadership and achieving a competitive advantage, by clarifying the features of enhanced pioneering education and its relationship to community leadership by identifying the principles on which entrepreneurial education and its forms are based, identifying social innovation and social value, and trying to clarify the importance of achieving sustainable competitive advantage. Providing the necessary ingredients for community leadership, evaluating the extent to which entrepreneurial learning is applied to achieve community leadership in Egyptian universities, and presenting the proposed mechanisms for using enhanced pioneering education at the university to develop community leadership and achieve sustainability. The research relied on the descriptive approach, as well as using the environmental analysis method (SWOT), and the research conducted an interview with a sample of university leaders, amounting to (17) leaders and people with specializations in the pioneering field. The research relied on reports as well as on data through personal interviews, and the research reached a set of results, including: that the university provides its services to its clients in various fields, but the renewal or development of its services provided to them needs to be activated, the knowledge investment is not sufficient, while social innovation and community partnership and transfer Technology needs improvement, and it has been concluded that entrepreneurial education contributes to the development of community leadership.
