Suggested mechanisms to improve institutional performance in Egyptian universities in the view of the Hoshin Kanri methodology

Abstract

The goal of researching to develop proposed mechanisms to improve institutional performance in Egyptian universities in the view of the Hoshin Kanri methodology, The research used the descriptive approach, and an opinion poll form was prepared to know the opinions of the experts from the faculty members specialized in the field of educational administration, those interested in the field of quality, and those who held academic leadership positions, whose number reached (50) members, about the suggested mechanisms to improve the performance of Egyptian universities in the view of the Hoshin Kanri methodology , Mechanisms for improving the performance of Egyptian universities have been reached in view of the Hoshin Kanri methodology, which included; Mechanisms for developing internal processes in universities, mechanisms for monitoring changes in the external environment of universities, mechanisms for developing human resources in universities, mechanisms for developing information and communication systems in universities, mechanisms for continuous monitoring of universities’ performance in the view of the Hoshin Kanri methodology, as well as the steps for implementing these mechanisms. And the most important obstacles to their implementation and how to overcome them.
