The effectiveness of a program based on some illustrated stories of the Prophet’s biography to develop speaking skills and awareness of the Prophet’s biography for non-Arabic speaking students of Muslims "intermediate level"

Abstract

The aim of the research is to know the effectiveness of a program based on the illustrated biography of the Prophet to develop speaking skills and awareness of the Prophet’s biography among learners of non-native speakers “intermediate level.” To answer the research questions, the researcher used the two approaches; The descriptive study in determining speaking skills, and the experimental to reveal the effectiveness of the program.

The researcher prepared a list of appropriate speaking skills for the intermediate level, and built the research tools, which consisted of a speaking skills test, a speaking skills observation card, and a scale of awareness of the Prophet’s biography.

The results of the research showed that the program has a great effectiveness in developing speaking skills and awareness of the Prophet's biography among learners of Arabic language of non-native speakers . the researcher recommended making use of the program in developing the language skills of non-native Arabic learners .
