A Suggested Strategy Based on Linguistic Analysis Approach to Develop Text Analysis and Literary Imagination Skills for Secondary Stage Students

Abstract


     This research was aiming to demonstrate the effectiveness of the Suggested strategy based on linguistic analysis approach for developing text analysis and literary imagination skills among  secondary stage students, to achieve this goal certain skills were prepared:  
* List of skills to analyze the literary texts suitable for students in the first grade secondary stage students.
* List of skills for literary imagination suitable for students in the first grade secondary stage students.
* Suggested strategy based on linguistic analysis approach, the teacher's guide, and the student's work papers.
* Test the skills of analysis of literary texts suitable for students in the first grade secondary stage students.
* Test the skills of literary imagination suitable for students in the first grade secondary stage students .
 
     The research was limited to a group of students in the first grade secondary stage students 60 students in number, 30 is the control group and 30 is the experimental group,
A preliminary test on the text analysis and literary imagination was done for both two groups (experimental and control) , And then the experimental group was taught the scheduled literary curriculum of (first term)according to the suggested strategy ,and then re-applying tests postly, pre and post exam results showed  statically significance between the average degree of the students of the  experimental group and the control group in the post application in favor of the experimental group.
