Love of life and its relationship to the level of academic ambition of a sample of female students from Taif University

Abstract

The current research aims to identify the relationship between love of live and the level of academic ambition of a sample of students from Taif University, and to know the differences between the response of the study sample about level of love of life and academic ambition depending on to the variable (academic specialization, age group). The sample of the study consisted of (214) female students divided into (114) female students from the college of Sharia and Regulation, (100) female students from the college of Computers and Information Technology. and the love of life scale and the level of academic ambition were applied to them, and the results of the study reached a high level of a love of life and a medium level of academic ambition, in addition to the existence of a statistically non-significant relationship between the love of life and all dimensions of the level of academic ambition except for one dimension which is after(academic obstacles), so there was a negative relationship between it and the love of live ,and there are no statistically significant differences between the students responses about love of life and the level of academic ambition, they are attributed to a variable (academic specialization or age group variable)
