The effectiveness of a religious counseling program based on awareness of the dangers of criminal behavior in achieving social security among Taif University students

Abstract

The aim of the research is to verify the effectiveness of an advisory program in achieving social security, among Taif University students through awareness of the dangers of criminal behavior, from a religious perspective, among a sample of (20) students in the Faculty of Arts, Taif University, who were divided into (10 students in the experimental group - 10 A students in the control group), which was selected from the lowest quaternary of a sample of 120 students. A psychological counseling program was prepared to raise awareness of the dangers of criminal behavior from an Islamic perspective, and the social security scale, and the experimental group students received (15) awareness sessions on the importance of social harmony and the risks of criminal behavior, and after the sessions ended, the social security measure was applied, and after six weeks, the tracking measurement was applied For a measure of social security, the results showed improvement in the level of social security among students of the experimental group, and continued improvement during the tracer measurement. Therefore, the study recommends the importance of continuing awareness of youth about such programs because they are affected by many media influences on their behavior and their anti-social ideas.
