Abstract
The Collaborative Mobile Learning is one of the modern learner-centered educational trends that depends on social interaction as a basis for building knowledge. The results of research and studies have proven the effectiveness of it. But it used learning environments other than mobile learning, and it didn’t specify the preference of one style over another. because size of Collaborative groups is one of the most important instructional design variables. Because the impact of the degree in interaction and Collaborative in opinions and ideas and their inclusion in the learning tasks returns to the number of students in groups.
So, the idea of ​​the current research aimed to develop two designs of Collaborative Mobile Learning in two types Pairs and small groups, in mathematics1 and explores the impact to on development of achievement and collective mathematical thinking for first-grade students of secondary school in Bahrain. Researchers analyzed students' characteristics, resource and content for Mathematics1, developed standards for Collaborative Mobile e-Learning in two types, developed two designs of Collaborative Mobile e-Learning, prepared the achievement and the collective mathematical thinking tests, sellected research sample its number was 64 students: 16 Pairs and 8 small groups, made the research experiment, and used statistical methods to verify of the research hypotheses. The results revealed the effectiveness of two designs developed achievement and collective mathematical thinking. It also revealed that there was no preferred style. then presented appropriate recommendations and proposals.
