Abstract:
The study aimed to prepare a proposed strategy to improve the mental image of New Valley University, as a model for emerging Egyptian universities, by identifying the most important dimensions and sources of mental image, and determine the differences in the dimensions and sources that contributed and influenced the construction and formation of the mental image that is attributed to the variables (student - graduate - labor employers). The study relied on the descriptive approach with its analytical and descriptive method. The study sample consisted of a number of students and graduates of the New Valley University, as well as a number of labor employers who have a direct link to the academic disciplines of the New Valley University. The study reached several results, including that the mental image of New Valley University is neither positive nor negative. The study also showed that there were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the attitudes of students and graduates with regard to the cognitive dimension, which is one of the dimensions of building the mental image of the New Valley University, and these differences came in favor of students.
