Abstract

The aim of the study was to identify the degree of application of total quality management standards in secondary schools in Al-Namas governorate and in order to achieve the objective of the study, the descriptive approach was used in its survey form and a questionnaire was applied to a random sample of (230) teachers from the study community, consisting of all teachers of public schools in the secondary school in the province of al-Namas of (480) teachers. The results of the study resulted in a number of findings, the most important of which is that the secondary schools in Al-Namas governorate is applying the total quality standards in all its fields (leadership and planning, teacher performance, Financial Resources, Local Community, Performance of Education Offices) to a medium degree and there were also statistically significant differences at the level of (0.01) among the averages of the sample participants responses to the degree of application of TQM standards in Al-Namas Governorate from the point of view of the teachers due to the differences in the variables of (academic qualification and the school location). It was found that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of (0.01) between the averages of the sample participants responses to the degree of application of TQM standards in Al-Namas Governorate from the point of view of the teachers due to the difference of the variable (years of experience). The study has presented a set of recommendations, the most important of which are the continuation of holding training courses, activating the system of monitoring, evaluation and field follow-up and supporting the dissemination of the culture of total quality initiated by the Kingdom, especially in the secondary education schools, by definition of its technical methods as well as its implementation stages and success factors under a phased plan and within a specific period of time, thus the Ministry of Education should proceed in its vision and support it in order to reach the knowledge economy and apply the total quality system in all schools.
