The Level of Strategic Planning Practice in Emerging Universities regarding the Objectives of Saudi Vision(2030) “A Field Study”

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the level of strategic planning practice in emerging universities from academic leaders perspective. To identify the relation of strategic planning in emerging universities with the objectives of Saudi Vision (2030). To detect statistical differences at α = 05.0 between the study members’ responses to the level of strategic planning practice in emerging universities. The researchers used the descriptive approach and the questionnaire as a tool for data collection. The results showed that the level of strategic planning practice regarding the strategic objectives of emerging universities was high, and the study members agreed that (the vision of university emerges from Saudi Vision (2030). The university administration also promotes students' values, continuously developing learning methods and continuously provides different learning opportunities). In addition to similar responses of the study members to the different nature of their administrative work about the level of strategic planning practice in emerging universities.
