Abstract

Research Summary:
The research aims to develop the basic reading skills of primary school students of different levels of achievement, through the use of a program based on the entrance to differentiated education.
To achieve this goal:
1       - A study of the theory of literature and previous research related to the subject of research, dealt with in the second chapter of the research; in order to reach the appropriate reading skills for fourth grade students of different levels of achievement.
2- In the third chapter, research tools and procedures were presented, which included:
 *Prepare a list of appropriate reading skills for fourth grade students.
 *Preparing the program based on the differentiated learning approach (defining the objectives of the program, defining the content of the program, identifying appropriate strategies for teaching the program content, identifying the learning resources assigned to achieve the objectives of the program, identifying the educational activities used when teaching the program, identifying methods of evaluation, preparing student worksheets, Preparation of the Teacher's Guide) to develop reading skills.
 *Preparation of the test of reading skills in (recognition, comprehension) and note card pronunciation skills of fourth grade students of different levels of achievement.
 *Select a research group from the fourth grade primary students, and divided into two groups: experimental and control.
*The application of reading skills test and note card pronunciation skills on the two groups before, then teaching the program for the experimental group, and teaching to the control group in the usual way through the classroom teacher, and then apply the tests of reading skills and card note pronunciation skills on both groups afterwards.
*After the statistical treatment of the pre- and post-application scores, a number of results were reached, which were presented and discussed in the fourth chapter of the research chapters, the most important of which are: Proving the effectiveness of the program based on the differentiated education approach in developing basic reading skills. The research finally made a number of recommendations and suggestions in the light of the findings.
