Proposed Mechanisms to Activate the role of the secondary school in Improving the Quality of school life for students in light of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Vision 2030

Abstract

          The study aimed to reveal the reality of the role of the secondary stage in improving the quality of school life for students from their point of view in Riyadh, followed by identifying the difficulties facing the school in improving the quality of school life for students from their point of view. From the point of view of school principals, then submit proposed mechanisms to activate the role of the secondary stage in improving the quality of school life for students considering the Kingdom's 2030 vision. And the research was based on the descriptive analytical approach. To achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire was designed, then rationed and applied to a sample of principals, male and female secondary education students in Riyadh, amounting to (413) male and female students and (218) male and female principals. The students, from their point of view, received a high degree. It turned out that the most practiced roles are the role of the teacher, followed by the role of the curricula, then the role of school activities, then the school administration, then the role of student counseling, respectively, and revealed the existence of difficulties facing the school in improving the quality of school life for students from the point of view of school principals Among them: the large number of students inside the school, and the distance of the activities offered by the school from the interests and tendencies of the students.
