In addition to exploring the effect of the interaction of the variables of gender (males, females) and the type of the faculty type (practical, theoretical) on the total score of mindfulness, cognitive load and academic procrastination among the student teachers. The participants consisted of (213) student teachers in the faculty of education, Fayoum University. The researcher employed many statistical techniques such as Exploratory Factor Analysis and Stipwise Regression Analysis. The research results showed that there are statistically significant effect of the type of gender on the total score of mindfulness in favor of males, The results also showed that there are statistically significant effect of the type of the faculty type on the total score of cognitive load in favor of theoretical type. In addition, there are statistically significant effect of the type of gender on the total score of academic procrastination in favor of males. However, there is a statistically there are a statistically significant effect of the interaction of the variables of gender and the type of the faculty type on the total score of academic procrastination in favor of practical males. The research also found that each of mindfulness, intrinsic and extraneous cognitive load, gender and type of the faculty in predicting academic procrastination of the participants. The results are discussed in light of the psychological literature and the previous studies.

The current research aimed to study the interaction between the timing of offering rewards (immediate / postponed) and player type (achieved / explored) in an electronic learning environment based on game stimuli in developing the achievement and self-efficacy of educational technology students. The quasi-experimental approach was used, depending on the global design (2 × 2). The research sample consisted of (60) students in the Faculty of Specific Education, Department of Educational Technology, who were randomly assigned to the four research groups. A list of standards for the electronic environment based on gaming stimuli was prepared, which included (17) standards and (142) indicators. A test for cognitive achievement was developed, and a self-efficacy scale was developed on the "class dojo" platform, the scale is of (25) single. One-way and two-way analysis of variance, ETA square, and Shave test were used for comparison between groups. The results showed the effectiveness of timing. Presentation of postponed rewards by comparison with timing of immediate rewards, the effectiveness of explorer player mode in comparison and effectiveness of player style achieved, and the fourth treatment preference for the interaction between timing of presentation of postponed rewards and player explorer mode compared to other experimental treatments.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of online debating in enhancing argumentative writing and reducing writing apprehension for fourth year EFL majors at the Faculty of Languages and Translation, Misr University for Science and Technology. Participants of the study, totaling 50 students, were divided into two equal groups randomly assigned to the experimental and control groups. To fulfill the purpose of the study, two instruments were developed and validated; an argumentative writing test and a DM-writing apprehension test. They were administered as a pre- posttest for both groups before and after the 11 weeks training program. The experimental group received the online debating training program treatment, whereas the control group students followed their regular method of teaching writing. Results indicated that the online debating program was effective in enhancing EFL majors' argumentative writing and reducing their writing apprehension. It was recommended that teaching the structural features of online debating should be incorporated into language pedagogy program.

This research sought to determine the effectiveness of a suggested program based on the Big6 Model in developing student teachers’ EFL multimodal writing skills. Participants were 100 third year students from the general sector of the English department at a Faculty of Education in Egypt. They were equally divided into an experimental and another control group and the quasi-experimental pretest- posttest design was used. Both groups were pretested and post tested on the EFL Multimodal Writing Test, scored by two raters according to the rubric developed by the researcher. Participants of the experimental group were taught the suggested program based on the Big6 Model and were asked to write reflection reports describing their learning experiences during the program administration. The statistical analysis of the participants’ results on the post administration of the EFL Multimodal Writing Test showed that the experimental group outperformed the control one on the post administration of the test. The Big6 Model based program had a large effect size (d=2.24) and the experimental group students developed their information search skills as well as their multimodal writing skills.
