The aim of the research is to investigate the effectiveness of using differentiated instruction strategies in developing the scientific concepts of the kindergarten children in Jazan region and to detect whether the differences are statistically significant in the pre/post research scale. The problem of the study was answering the study key question: what is the effectiveness of using differentiated instruction strategy to develop the scientific concepts of the kindergarten children in the Jazan region? To answer the main question, several research hypotheses were formulated, and the hypotheses were tested using the experimental method. The sample of the study were randomly selected out of of 60 second-level children who were 5 or 6 years old. Both of the experimental group and the control group consists of 15 children. The research tools were a test of the pictorial scientific concepts and a scientific concept program for the kindergarten children using the differentiated instruction strategy. The researcher used several statistical treatments that are suitable to variables of the research using SPSS program. Two-tailed test (T-test) is used to detect differences between variables, Anova test is also used to detect differences in the dependent variable and the LSD test is used to detect analysis of variances after the Anova test has been applied. The researcher has concluded to the finding that there were statistically significant differences between the control group and the experimental group at the level of (0.05) at the favour of the experimental group in scientific-concepts posttest . One of the most important recommendations of the research is that it is necessary to develop the various scientific concepts of kindergarten children by adding more appropriate scientific information to kindergarten activities, and to make visual programs across social media to raise the kindergarten children awareness of scientific concepts.
