The role of school leaders in secondary school in Riyadh in developing the national belonging value among students

AbstractThis study aimed at identifying the role of school leaders in secondary schools in Riyadh, in developing the national belonging value of the students, and to achieve this a sample consisted of (107) school leaders in secondary schools in Riyadh has been selected, the descriptive survey method was used in this study, the questionnaire was used to collect data, and the study resulted in the following findings:- The respondents show (agree) on the role of school leaders, in secondary schools in Riyadh, in developing the national belonging value of the students, and the phrase ranked as first on this dimension is "the students are given the opportunity to participate in volunteer work that serve the homeland and the citizen. In the second place came the phrase "the duties of a Muslim citizen towards the preservation of his homeland were explained to the students."- The respondents show (agree) on the difficulties faced by the role of school leaders in secondary schools in Riyadh, in developing the national belonging value of students, the phrase came in first place on this dimension is "the lack of material support allocated to extracurricular activities that develop the value of national belonging in school, while came in the second place is the "lack of knowledge of some of the students' about ideas offered by some extremist groups."- The respondents of study show (agree) on the proposals that contribute to the activation of the role of school leaders in secondary schools in Riyadh, in developing the national belonging value of students, in the first place came the proposal "educate students of the dangers of social networking sites that aim to oppose the national belonging value among students", while in the second order came the proposal "to increase the material support allocated to schools for extracurricular activities that develop the value of national belonging in school. "In the light of the findings of the study, the following recommendations have been suggested:1. To provide material and moral support to the leaders of secondary school to assist them in the implementation of extracurricular activities that develop the value of national belonging among students.2. Leaders of secondary schools should undertake planning to increase the cooperation between the school and the local community and its institutions in the implementation of care and volunteer activities that are implemented in these schools.3. Leaders of the secondary school should avail attractive and appropriate environment for the implementation of activities and volunteer programs using modern methods and techniques.4. The Ministry of Education has to provide all the material and moral needs of school leaders, to promote the participation of students in activities and volunteer programs that develop the value of national belonging among students.

ABSTRACTThis study aims to identify high school education role in forming the character of high school student in the light of twenty one century variables out of female teacher's and advisors view in Riyadh, whose number (210) teachers and (9) advisors. The current study depended on analytic and descriptive methodology. The tool of this study is questionnaire. Moreover, the study resulted in important results. It showed that the educational objectives enhance identity constituents and belonging for home, as it is necessary to enable teacher to get modern information and technological skills. Also, it is necessary to make curriculums focus on developing and enhancing good ethics and help in activating student's participation in school activities. The study explores the importance of training for teacher's managers on using technology, and the importance of focusing objectives on identity and home belonging. In addition, it showed that it is necessary to make education executives focus on training school's managers on using technology, technological development, raising interest of teachers, enabling them to acquire the technological skills, raising interest to practice the target activities that participate on resulting cooperative and understandable students, and curriculums should focus on instilling good ethics for students.

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to identify the teaching competencies necessary for religious subject teachers at the elementary level on the light of quality standards and how to enable them, by answering the following questions:1 – What are the necessary teaching requirements for religious subjects teachers at the elementary level in the light of overall quality standards?2 - What is the availability of the necessary teaching skills in Religious science teachers at the elementary level in the light of the quality standards?3 - Is there a discrepancy between the sample classes in how to enable them to teaching skills necessary in the light of the quality standards due to variables: qualification, experience, class?To achieve the aim of the study, the researcher design note card as a tool for the study, and after making sure the sincerity of the tool and stability, have been applied to a sample of science teachers legitimate primary Zulfi reached (40) milestone by (50.63%) of the original study, and study reached several conclusions most important of which are:1.A list of the necessary teaching requirements for teachers of religious subjects in the light of overall quality standards stood at thirty-four (34) adequacy. 2. The results showed that the overall average for all areas and overall quality standards in the observation card equal to (3.18), and this shows the degree of mastery of medium-caliber faculty.3. The results showed that the overall average for the first quality standards relating to the personal side is equal to (3.73). 4. The results showed that the overall average for the second quality standards relating to the scientific side is equal to (3.16).5. The results showed that the overall average for the third area quality standards relating to the educational aspect equals (3.05).6. The results showed no differences between groups in the sample over enable them to teaching skills necessary in the light of the quality standards in these areas, due to the different number of years of experience of the study sample.7. The results showed no differences between groups in the sample over enable them to teaching skills necessary in the light of the quality standards in those areas, belonging to different classrooIn light of the findings the researcher to several recommendations for Religious science teachers and ministry of education officials and education, as well as several future studies have suggested .

AbstractThe study aimed to know the effect of using Marzano's model of education in the development of jurisprudential concepts of first grade secondary female students, the study sample consisted of 62 female students from the first grade of secondary school the sample distributed to two groups: experimental and control group, To achieve the objective of the study the researcher prepared test in jurisprudential concepts ,by using experimental method and t-test for two independent and paired groups The results showed that there are statistical significant differences at the level (0.05) among students in the control and experimental groups for the experimental group that used Marzano's model to learn and between the two measurements pre and post experimental group for post measurement and the effect size of the strategy in the development of jurisprudential concepts large .

Abstract:This study aimed at investigating students’ life satisfaction and it is relationship with optimism and pessimism at Princes Rahma College. The study sample consisted of (300) students (153 male, 147 female) they were chosen purposively. The result indicated that the life satisfaction and optimism for students were moderate, while pessimism was low, and there were statistical significant differences (α = 0.05) in life satisfaction and optimism attributed to gender in favor of males.

Abstract:The study aimed at identifying the degree of application of concept of educational priorities by secondary school principals in the city of Taif from the point of view of the supervisors.The study used a descriptive survey approach.Study tool was a questionnaire composed of two main parts : The first part is related to public information, and the second part is related to the points of questionnaire, and it include and fifty - eight items distributed on two areas of the concept of educational priorities, namely the field of administrative tasks, the field of technical tasks.The study smple consisted of 176 educational supervisors. The study used the Pearson correlation coefficient, and Cronbach's alpha coefficient to calculate the reliability and validity of the tool, and used ratios, arithmetic mean, and standard deviation scores for the application, (ANOVA) as well as the T - test to detect statistical significance of differences.Results showed that the degree of application the concept of educational priorities by secondary school principals in the field of administrative tasks as a whole was high but in the field of technical tasks was moderate the administrative tasks that occupied advanced ranks in priority tasks were predominantly visible and tangible results when evaluating the work of a principle, while the tasks that are mostly regulatory and planning functions were at the end.the technical tasks that occupied advanced ranks in priority tasks were mostly in the visible and tangible results and tasks that are interested in student needs, while tasks related to the teachers were at the end.No statistically significant differences at the level of α = 0.05 between the averages of responses from members of the study population of supervisors about the degree of application of the concept of educational priorities by secondary school principals and its fields, attributed to the scientific qualification, except for the scientific field of administrative tasks in favor of Graduate studies, and there are no statistically significant differences at the level of α = 0.05 attributed to the experience and courses and field supervision.

Abstract The present study aimed to determine the real use ofe-learning in teaching English language of middle school in Taif. The study followed the descriptive approach. The study sample consisted of (134) teachers and (8) educational supervisors. They were selected in comprehensive survey of the first semester. The researcher prepared a Questionnaire consisted of two parts: The first related to personal information, and the second consisted of the reality of the use of e-learning, and the obstacles to the use of e-learning in teaching English language. Statistical Methodswas Standard deviations, t-test for two independent groups, and Mann-Whitney test. The findings of the reality of the use of e-learning indicates a low degree. The obstacles level as generally average. Then the obstacles of software and hardware came in the first place, followed by the student then by the teacher. There were no differences between the responses of teachers and supervisors in the dimensions of the total score. There were no differences between respondents and responses according to the qualification and experience in all dimensions of the total score, There were differences between the responses of respondents, according to training courses in the dimensions of the obstacles of device and software

Abstract:This study aims to identify the effectiveness of the use of the Visual Strategy that based on the Knowledge LoadTheoryon the achievement of second-grade high school students at Fiqh curriculum.The study aims to achieve its objectives throughidentifying whether there are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of students in the experimental group who learn by using the Visual Strategy that based on the Knowledge Load Theory, andthe mean scores of their peers in the control group who learn by using the traditional way. On the other hand, the study uses the quasi-experimental approach. After the application of the experiment and the analysis of its data, the researcher hasfound a number of results.The most import results are as follows: (i) Superiority of the students in the experimental group on the students in the control group at the post-application of the Fiqhcurriculumtest. (ii) Superiority of the post-performance on the pre-performance of experimental group, which indicates the effectiveness of using the Visual Strategy that based on the Knowledge Load Theory on the achievement of second-grade high school students at Fiqh curriculum. In conclusion, the researcher mentions a number of recommendations including: (i) Working on whatever enhances the effectiveness of the use of the Visual Strategy that based on the Knowledge Load Theory on the achievement of second-grade high school students at Fiqh curriculum. (ii) Working on creating the right environment to enhance the effectiveness of the use of the Visual Strategy that based on the Knowledge Load Theory on the achievement of second-grade high school students at Fiqh curriculum. (iii) Establishing workshops and seminars to discuss how to enhance the effectiveness of the use of the Visual Strategy that based on the Knowledge Load Theory on the achievement of second-grade high school students at Fiqh curriculum.
