The research aimed at determining the importance of digital academic advising and presenting a proposal to implement for developing academic performance among students at Assiut University, The research used the descriptive method. The participants consisted of (400) male and female Students from theoretical faculties of (Education and Society Work) and practical faculties (Science and Veterinary Medicine, who study with Credit Hours system)in Assuit University, The tool of research included a questionnaire to determining the importance of digital academic advising for students, It was prepared by researchers, the results showed that, the responses of the students on importance of "dimensions of digital academic advising" came at a moderate degree (mean=2.271), and (SD=0.512), which indicates that students need to have this type of advising that provides them with many guiding, introductory, organizational, social and personal services that contribute to developing their academic performance, there are no statistically significant differences between the means of ranking scores of the students of digital academic advising importance due to gender (male and female) and type of faculty (practical and theoretical). The responses of the staff members of faculities came on the nature of Digitalacademic advising that it is necessary to clarify its goals, tasks, methods of implementation, the standards of designing its website, and the needs of students.

The current research tackled the argumentation of forming the critical mind in the educational process through identifying the concept of critical mind and causes of improving it. It also tackled the basic features of critical mind, the obstacles of forming it and the aspects of authoritarian education and its impact on the formation of the critical mind. The research used the critical approach to achieve the aforementioned goals. The research concluded that there is a necessity for changes concerning individuals and society to form educational and pedagogical relations that contributes in the critical mind formation. The research presented a set of procedural guidelines for forming critical mind, which are required for education to build generations of critical minds. These procedures are based on the fact that the responsibility for forming a critical mind falls on various institutions of society, such as family, media, and religious, cultural, educational & political institutions. The research also indicated that education is a key element that contributes to in the formation of critical thinker. Education is either a tool to reproduce the stereotypic mind, or a way to form an individual who is able to fulfill his mind in a critical way in dealing with problems. The research considered that providing freedom of thought, dialogue, questioning, discussion, criticism, doubt and research has been counted as stimulating and facilitating factors for the growth and formation of the individual's critical mind. However, authoritarian education confiscates freedom of thinking, criticism and dialogue and works to paralyze individuals' minds.

The aim of the current study was to identify the level of both mindfulness and professional stress among university staff members, the nature of the relationship between mindfulness and professional stress among the study sample, the nature of the differences in mindfulness with respect to the variable of gender the nature of specialization variable and the academic degree variable and the interaction between them, the nature of the differences in professional stress with its two dimensions that are due to gender variable and the nature of specialization variable and the academic degree variable and the interaction between such variables, and the possibility of predicting professional stress through mindfulness of the university staff members. The main study sample consisted of (258). Findings of the current study showed that there is a relative rise in the mindfulness of the study participants, as well as a rise in their professional stress. In addition, a statistically significant negative correlation was found between mindfulness and professional stress among the study sample. Furthermore, there were not statistically significant differences in mindfulness that are due to the gender variable, the nature of specialization variable, as well as the academic degree variable, and no interaction between these variables appeared in the mindfulness of the study sample. Similarly, there were not statistically significant differences in the professional stress with its two dimensions which are due to gender variable, the variable of specialization nature as well as the academic degree variable

Mathematics teachers in Shaqra secondary schools, numbering 164 teachers divided into (22) secondary schools. The mean of the mathematical teachers' estimates of the degree of obstacles of the creative performance of mathematics teachers is attributed to the gender variable in favor of females, and to the absence of statistically significant differences due to the variable of educational qualification and years of experience.

This study aimed at investigating the effect of a professional development program on in-service preparatory stage EFL teachers’ performance in the light of their teaching needs. Three main instruments were administered to twenty male and female teachers (a questionnaire, an achievement test and an observation sheet) who represented the experimental group (10) and the control group (10). The professional development program was administered for eight weeks. The data, collected in terms of a range of measures of seven knowledge aspects and four main teaching skills were subjected to t-test. The results indicated that, after the implementation of the program, the participants achieved higher levels in the post-administration of the achievement test as well as in the post-administration of the observation sheet than in the pre-administration of both of them. Moreover, the participants achieved higher levels in the post-administration of the achievement test as well as in the post-administration of the observation sheet than the control group. The results highlighted the positive effect of the suggested program based on teachers’ teaching needs on developing teachers’ knowledge aspects and teaching skills. The program enabled the participants to gain deeper insights into themselves and the courses they taught. It also enabled teachers to update their knowledge and skills, and thus review their teaching practices.

This research aimed at determining the intensity levels of visual cue of the interactive video, the most influencing factor in acquisition of fixed info graphic production skills for Faculty of Education students at Ain Shams University. The research dealt with two levels of visual cue intensity, to achieve this goal(30) students were chosen from basic education division specializing in science at the Faculty of Education - Ain Shams University, and they were divided into two experimental groups (15) students for each group, and the scale was applied(pre application), then each experimental group studied the content of the interactive video according to of visual cue intensity (high - low), and the research scales(achievement test - evaluation card for fixed info graphic design), were applied post-test. the research found that there are differences between the first experimental group (which was studied using an interactive video With high visual hint density) and the second experimental group (which was studied using an interactive video with low visual hint density) in Pre /post test achievement for the benefit of post-scale, And there were differences between the two groups in post application of the fixed info graphic evaluation card for the benefit of the first experimental group (which was studied using an interactive video with a high visual hints intensity), while there were no differences between the two groups in the post achievement test, and the research recommended taking into consideration the level of intensity of the visual cues when designing the video Interactive.

Integrating embedded questions into interactive video lectures is one of the key elements of interactivity in learning. The current research investigates designing embedded questions by developing two types of embedded questions closed and open-ended questions and presenting them (while- watching - at the end of watching) at a web-based environment, and investigating their interaction effect on students' achievement, technology acceptance and perceptions. A combination of educational research methods were applied including the descriptive method, systems development method, the experimental method, and the qualitative research method. The (2×2) factorial design was applied on a sample of (71) students in the second year, Instructional Technology dept. Faculty of Special Education, .. They were randomly divided into four experimental groups. The e-learning environment was developed in light of Mohammed Khamis's (2007) ISD model and design standards. Research tools consisted of an achievement test, a technology acceptance scale, and an open-ended questionnaire for perceptions. The results showed the effectiveness of embedded questions in achievement and the high level of technology acceptance. The analysis of students' responses showed that most students have positive perceptions towards interactive video lectures and most students preferred closed questions while-watching. Conducting more research on the design variables of embedded questions in interactive video lectures and associate them to other variables such as viewing time, analysis of viewing strategies and interaction with interactive content was recommended.
