The reality of the application of school leaders in the two governorates of Hotat Bani Tamim and Al-Hariq for participatory leadership

Abstract

The study aimed to present proposals that, God willing, contribute to enhancing the application of school leaders in the two governorates of Hotat Bani Tamim and Al-Hariq for participatory leadership from the point of view of educational supervisors, by revealing the degree of application, and the difficulties that limit their application.
The study used the survey descriptive approach, and a questionnaire was constructed and distributed to the study community, which is composed of all educational supervisors who visit schools in the education administration in the governorates of Houta Bani Tamim and Al-Hariq in the second semester of the academic year 1438/1439 AH. The comprehensive study applied to all study population.
One of the most prominent results of the study was the approval of the study members that the degree of application of school leaders in the two governorates of Hotat Bani Tamim and Al-Hariq to participatory leadership is medium, and their agreement that the degree of difficulties that limit their application is significant, in addition to their agreement to proposals to enhance their application significantly.
The study recommended the intensification of training courses and workshops in the field of participatory leadership for school leaders in the two governorates of Hota Bani Tamim and Al-Hariq, and sensitization of workers in schools of their importance and role in developing the administrative and educational process in the school, while motivating them to study the material and meaning in the schools.
