The Effectiveness of Training Program Based on Cognitive Emotional Regulation Strategies ( In the Light of Post- Constructivism Models) in development Emotional Creativity and Actively Open- Minded Thinking for Students of Faculty of Education

Abstract

The aim of the current research is to reveal the effectiveness of the training program based on cognitive emotional regulation strategies (in light of post- constructivism models) in developing emotional creativity and actively open-minded thinking among students of college of education. they were divided into two groups, one of them was an experimental group a(52) male and female students from the biology division, and the control group (50) male and female students from the geology division. The research tools consisted of the emotional creativity scale , actively open-minded scale , and the training program based on cognitive emotional regulation strategies in the light of post- constructivism models, and the results of the study concluded that there are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.01) between the mean scores of the students of the experimental and control groups on the emotional creativity scale after applying the training program in favor of the experimental group students, and there were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.01) between the total score on the scale of actively open-minded thinking and its dimensions in favor of the experimental group students.
