Enduring mystery and its relationship to the emotional intelligence of a sample of mentally late children

Abstract

This study aimed at investigating the relationship between tolerance of ambiguity with emotional intelligence in a sample of mentally late children, and also aimed at revealing the differences between the average degrees of mentally late sexes among children with tolerance of ambiguity. And showing the differences between the average degrees of the mentally late sex children in the emotional intelligence. Procedures: The study consisted of (80) mentally late male and female children; Their ages ranged between (9-12) years, and tools were used: testing the tolerance of ambiguity (preparation: Rabab Muhi 2007) and the emotional intelligence scale illustrated (prepared by: Zahwa Munir 2016), the socioeconomic level meter prepared (Muhammad Al-Behairi 2002). There was a positive correlation between the degrees of the study sample mentally late on the two levels of tolerance of ambiguity and emotional intelligence, in addition to the presence of statistically significant differences between the mean degrees of males and females in the study sample mentally late on the scale of uncertainty and that level at the level of Statistically significant between the mean scores of males and females in the study group who were mentally late on the emotional intelligence scale.
